Following the APPG’s Farmers in Parliament Post Brexit event in October 2016, which saw some of the UK’s most innovative farmers and food producers discuss with MPs & Peers the current state of farming and their hopes for future,  the APPG undertook a two part inquiry into what impact new trading agreements will have for agroecological food and farming.

Our focus: – to look at the consequences of new trade negotiations and highlight what the government needs to do to support farming and food production after the UK’s withdrawal from the European Union.

To highlight the opportunities to build a food and farming strategy that is better for civil society, farmers, farm animals and the environment (including soil health, conservation and biodiversity).

Report – What impact new trade agreements will have on UK food and farming is now available
